No matter what your goal for using ChatGPT is, whether conducting accurate research, fact-checking, or creating original content free from plagiarism, the AI technology often fails spectacularly with disastrous results.

The potential for irreparable damage to your privacy, reputation,—and perhaps some time in the near future—your livelihood should not be ignored.   Now that I’ve highlighted the failures of and some liabilities associated with the use of this product, I’ll end by saying I can’t think of a single good reason to use ChatGPT.   

That’s 8 cons versus 0 pros.  If ChatGPT does anything well, it makes the decision not to use it an easy one to make.
